What does the Technology Classes Program entail?
With technology rapidly progressing, we understand how difficult it can be to keep up! The New Wave Crossing Foundation offers courses for seniors to help fill any technological gaps in your knowledge.
Our instructions take their time demonstrating how to use various gadgets, such as iPhones, Androids, tablets and basic computer systems. The instructors can also give you advice on alternative solutions if you find the devices to be too challenging. Additionally, we'll educate you on cybersecurity and how to identify corrupt emails and scams.
In Fall 2023, this program will also be offered through our YouthWorks Program, which will give youth an opportunity to develop their own technological skills alongside you and build relationships in the community.
